Every week we bring you a list of the top former Statesmen players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Jackson Meshanic, a 6'7'' forward who graduated from Hobart in 2023 and earned the prestigious All-Liberty Player of the Year award, is currently showcasing his skills as a professional basketball player in Australia. In a recent game, despite his commendable performance, Meshanic could not lead the Camberwell Dragons (4-3) to victory as they fell short to the Cougars with a score of 82-89 on the road. Even though he contributed 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists in 34 minutes of play, his team was unable to secure the win against the lower-ranked (#7) Cougars. In another game against McKinnon, Meshanic once again displayed his talent by putting up impressive numbers: 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists. However, despite his remarkable efforts, Camberwell was unable to emerge victorious. Throughout the season, Meshanic has been a standout player with impressive statistics, averaging 19.1 points per game, 10.7 rebounds per game (ranking third best in the league), and 3.7 assists per game in the seven games he has played so far. His consistent performance and all-around skills make him a key player for his team as they strive for success in the league.
