#1. Experienced champion Jerron Jamerson, a 6'5'' guard who is 34 years old and graduated from Goshen in 2014, currently plays professionally in Australia. In a recent game, he helped lead the Mackay Meteors to a convincing 99-84 victory over the 11th-ranked Seahawks (2-8) in the Australian NBL One, the second division league. Despite recording modest stats of 4 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists in 26 minutes of play, Jamerson's impact on the court was significant. The Mackay Meteors, with a record of 6-4, currently hold the fifth position in the North group standings. Jamerson's standout performance against the NGC Seahawks showcased his versatility and skill, contributing to his team's success and ultimately leading them to claim the champion title. Individually, Jamerson has been having an outstanding season, boasting impressive averages of 16.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in the 10 games he has played so far. His consistent performance and leadership have undoubtedly been key factors in the Mackay Meteors' success in the league.
