

Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Here is the weekly review of the top performing Chargers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Ty Toney (6'3''-G-1994, played in 2014-15, plays pro in Portugal) could not help Esgueira (9-13) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Esgueira was edged85-84 at home by the higher-ranked (#5) Ovarense. Toney was the second best scorer with 24 points. He also added 5 assists and 6 steals in 40 minutes. The Regular Season already ended. Toney has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 19.4ppg, 5.0rpg, 4.0apg and 1.7spg in 22 games he played so far.
#2. Langston Wilson (6'9''-PF-2000, played in 2019-21, plays in Turkey) was not able to help Cagdas Bodrum Spor in their game against Cayirova (20-14) in the Turkish TBL (second division). Wilson recorded 9 points. But Cagdas Bodrum Spor was badly defeated83-64 on the road by the lower-ranked Cayirova (#6). Wilson has relatively good stats this season 10.1ppg and 6.7rpg. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
#3. Cahiem Brown (6'5''-G, played in 2018-21, currently in the ECBL), who plays in the ECBL was not able to secure a victory for the Hickory Hoyas (5-5) in their last game. Despite Brown's very good performance the Hickory Hoyas (#3) were crushed140-114 in Dillon by the Carolina Thunder. He had a double-double by scoring 36 points and getting 20 rebounds. Brown also added 5 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. There are only three games left until the end of the ECBL Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Brown has very impressive stats this year 30.5ppg, 11.7rpg and 2.3apg in six games.
#4. Ty Cockfield Jr. (6'0''-PG-1996, played in 2016-17, plays pro in Germany) led EPG Guardians Koblenz to a victory over the 12th-ranked Lions (13-21) 91-73 in the German ProA (second division) last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Cockfield Jr. recorded 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. EPG Guardians Koblenz (9-25) is placed 16th in the ProA. The Regular Season already ended. It's Cockfield Jr.'s first season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Cockfield Jr. averages 17.7ppg, 2.7rpg and 3.2apg.
