#1. Ade Murkey (6'5''-G-1998, played in 2016-20, plays pro in Iceland) led Alftanes to a victory over the closely-ranked KR (4-2) 108-89 in a derby game in the Icelandic Subway League on Thursday night. He was MVP of the game. Murkey scored 28 points (!!!), had 9 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 35 minutes. UMF Alftanes (4-2) is placed third in the Subway League. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Murkey has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 23.5ppg, 7.5rpg, 2.7apg and 1.2spg.
#2. Ronnie Harrell Jr. (6'7''-SF-1996, played in 2018-19, plays in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Mykonou (2-3) 78-61 in the Greek GBL in Saturday night's game. He scored 8 points. Aris Midea Thessaloniki (2-4) is placed 11th in the GBL. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Harrell Jr. averages 7.0ppg, 8.0rpg, 2.2apg and 1.7spg in six games he played so far.
#3. Touko Tainamo (6'9''-F-2001, played in 2021-24, currently in Czech Republic) contributed to an USK Praha's victory against the ninth-ranked Slavia (3-6) 91-84 in a derby game in the Czech Republic NBL last Saturday. Tainamo recorded 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 32 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. USK Praha (4-3) is placed fourth in the NBL. Tainamo has relatively good stats this season 14.4ppg and 7.3rpg.
#4. Tymoteusz Sternicki (6'9''-F-2006, played in 2024-25, plays pro in Poland). He could not help WKS Slask Wroclaw (3-3) to beat Wilki Morskie (5-1) in the Polish OBL. Sternicki's contribution was not very remarkable in Saturday's game. He scored only 3 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. WKS Slask Wroclaw was edged83-80 on the road by the second-ranked Wilki Morskie. It was WKS Slask Wroclaw's first loss after three consecutive victories. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This year Sternicki averages 2.7ppg and 2.0rpg in three games.
#5. Isaiah Addo-Ankrah (6'7''-G-2001, played in 2023-25, plays in Georgia) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Iverioni in their game against Kutaisi (3-1) in the Georgian Superleague. He scored 6 points in 17 minutes. Iverioni was defeated 73-69 at home by the higher-ranked Kutaisi (#4). It's Addo-Ankrah's first season with the team. This year Addo-Ankrah averages 7.4ppg and 2.6rpg. He is a naturalized Ghanian.
#6. Pedro Lopez-San Vicente (6'8''-F-2002, played in 2021-25, currently in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Huesca in their game against Molina in the Spanish Segunda FEB (third division). He scored 6 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists. His team lost 78-84. This year Lopez-San Vicente averages 4.8ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.8apg in six games.
