#1. Tavon King, a 28-year-old point guard standing at 5'11'', graduated from Cumberland in 2022. He previously played for Columbia St. between 2016 and 2018 before embarking on his professional basketball career in Romania. In a recent game, King, a finalist, was unable to lead his team, Sibiu (16-12), to a victory over the formidable Voluntari (20-8) in the Romanian Liga Nationala Baschet de Masculin. Despite his efforts, King only managed to score 4 points in 12 minutes of play as Sibiu suffered a 82-76 defeat at home against Voluntari, who currently hold the #3 spot in the league standings. This season marks King's debut with the team, where he has been averaging a solid 11.2 points per game, along with 1.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. In the match against Voluntari, the champion scored four points and contributed with one assist, showcasing his skills on the court. However, despite his individual performance, Sibiu was unable to secure a victory against their higher-ranked opponents.
