#1. Cortez Mosley, a 6'5'' guard/forward who is 24 years old and graduated from Langston in 2024, has been making waves in the basketball scene. Despite playing at Colby CC between 2021 and 2022, he now showcases his skills as a professional player in the TBL. In a recent game, Mosley played a pivotal role in leading the 4 Bears Roar to a resounding victory over the Willamette Valley Jaguars, with a dominating scoreline of 156-79 on Friday night. Mosley's standout performance included an impressive double-double, as he scored 24 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists in 42 minutes of play. This remarkable display is even more notable considering it is only his second season in professional basketball. The 4 Bears Roar team boasts a commendable 23-1 record this season, with this game marking their 23rd consecutive win. His exceptional performance against the Willamette Valley Jaguars not only secured the victory for his team but also earned him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com. Mosley's consistent excellence on the court highlights his talent and cements his status as a finalist. Throughout the season, he has maintained impressive individual statistics, averaging 15.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
#2. Javion May, a 6'2'' guard and 26-year-old former Bearkats player from the class of 2023, has an impressive basketball background. Despite playing at Colby CC between 2018 and 2020, where he notably contributed to their KJCCC D1 West Division Champion title, he now showcases his skills as a professional in the TBL. In a recent game, May led the Kokomo Bobkats to a thrilling victory over the Lebanon Leprechauns with a final score of 152-147 in The Basketball League. During the game, May displayed his versatility by recording a double-double with 13 points, 18 rebounds, and 5 assists in 33 minutes of play. This game was highly anticipated as it featured two of the top 2 ranked teams in the Midwest group, with the Kokomo Bobkats holding a 15-8 record this season. May's stellar performance not only secured his team's fourth consecutive win but also earned him well-deserved recognition. His remarkable display on the court even garnered him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com in acknowledgment of his outstanding achievement. Throughout the season, May has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.5 points, 8.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. His consistent contributions and leadership make him a valuable asset to his team as they strive for success in the league.
