#1. Mehdy-Sofian Ngouama (6'2''-PG-1995, played in 2014-16, plays pro in France) contributed to an easy victory against the 14th-ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (2-5) crushing them 83-62 in the French Betclic ELITE ProA in Saturday night's game. He recorded 9 points and added 3 assists in 15 minutes. LDLC ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (5-2) is placed second in the Betclic ELITE ProA. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Ngouama averages 6.6ppg, 1.2rpg and 2.8apg in five games he played so far.
#2. Eric Lockett (6'5''-G/F-1995, played in 2015-16, plays in Poland) led his Polish team Anwil Wloclawek to an easy victory against the league leader Braunschweig (3-1) 84-65 in the FIBA Europe Cup last Tuesday. Lockett recorded 14 points, 4 assists and 3 steals. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Anwil Wloclawek (2-2) is placed third in the FIBA Europe Cup. There are only two games left until the end of the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Lockett's first season with the team. This year he averages 7.7ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.2apg and 1.5spg. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#3. Jaeden Zackery (6'2''-G-2001, played in 2020-21, currently in Finland) led Karhubasket to a victory against the ninth-ranked Korihait (3-6) 84-77 in the Finnish Korisliiga on Saturday night. He scored 11 points and added 5 assists in 26 minutes. Karhubasket Kauhajoki (6-3) is placed third in the Korisliiga. Zackery has relatively good stats this year 13.0ppg, 4.8rpg, 2.5apg and 1.3spg in four games.
#4. Daniel Oladapo (6'8''-PF-2000, played in 2018-19, plays pro in France) could not help Stade Rochelais Basket (5-4) in their last game on Friday. Despite Oladapo's very good performance Stade Rochelais Basket was defeated 74-64 on the road by the higher-ranked Denain Voltaire (#4). He was the top scorer with 16 points. Oladapo also added 5 rebounds and 4 assists. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Oladapo's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 10.1ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.1apg. Oladapo is a naturalized Nigerian.
#5. Nae'Qwan Tomlin (6'8''-F-2000, played in 2020-22, plays in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Washington Wizards (1-10) crushing them 148-114 in the NBA last Friday. Tomlin scored 6 points in only 6 minutes. The Cleveland Cavaliers have a solid 7-4 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This year Tomlin averages 3.0ppg in two games.
#6. Experienced Malcolm Armstead (6'1''-PG-1989, played in 2008-09, currently in Kosovo) contributed to Peja's victory against the closely-ranked Sigal Prishtina 95-90 in the Kosovan Superliga on Sunday night. He scored 9 points and added 6 assists. This season Armstead averages 8.8ppg, 3.2rpg, 5.4apg and 1.2spg. He is a naturalized Kosovan.
#7. Sha'Markus Kennedy (6'8''-F-1998, played in 2016-18, plays pro in Georgia) was not able to help the league outsider Delta in their game against Orbi in the Georgian Superleague. He scored 9 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, passed 5 assists and added 2 blocks in 31 minutes. His team was edged 78-77. Kennedy has relatively good stats this year 11.5ppg, 8.0rpg, 5.0apg, 3.5bpg and 1.5spg in two games.
#8. Ibrahima Sankare (6'8''-F-1996, played in 2018-19, plays in Saudi Arabia) was not able to secure a victory for Al Khewaildia (1-6) in their last game on Monday. Despite Sankare's very good performance Al Khewaildia was defeated 78-64 at home by the higher-ranked Al Fateh (#6). He was the top scorer with 21 points. Sankare also added 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Sankare has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 22.3ppg, 8.4rpg, 3.4apg and 1.6spg.
#9. Earl Watson (6'7''-C-1990, played in 2012-13, currently in Argentina) couldn't help Amancay in their game against Hindu in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division). Watson scored 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 29 minutes. His team lost 69-76. This year Watson averages 4.0ppg and 4.5rpg in two games.
#10. Amadou Traore (6'7''-F-2000, played in 2021-22, plays pro in Azerbaijan) couldn't help Guba in their game against Serhedci in the Azerbaijani ABL. He cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. Traore scored only one point and grabbed 4 rebounds. His team was defeated 86-82. This season Traore averages 7.2ppg and 7.4rpg. Traore attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
