#1. Australian champion Jayden Hodgson, a 6'3'' guard at 29 years old, graduated from GVSU in 2020 but previously played for Bradley University between 2016 and 2019. During his time at Bradley, he was instrumental in helping his team become the champion of the MVC Tournament in 2019. Currently playing professionally in Australia, he recently played for Logan Thunder and contributed significantly to their victory over the 11th-ranked Rockets with a score of 117-92 in the Australian NBL One, the second division league, on Friday night. Despite scoring only 2 points in 10 minutes, Hodgson's presence on the court was crucial for the team's success. Logan Thunder, with a record of 6-2, currently holds the fourth position in the North group standings. In another game against Rockhampton R., Hodgson scored 2 points and provided 1 assist, proving to be a key player in securing another victory for his team. Throughout the season, Hodgson has been averaging 3.3 points per game, showcasing his skills and determination as a finalist.
