#1. Jalan McCloud (5'11''-PG-1995, played in 2013-15, plays pro in Bulgaria) could not help Spartak Pleven (2-1) in their last game. Despite his good performance Spartak Pleven lost 81-96 on the road to the lower-ranked (#24) Peja. McCloud scored 12 points and added 3 passes in a mere 16 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the European North Basketball League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's McCloud's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. McCloud averages 20.7ppg, 2.7rpg, 3.0apg and 2.3spg in three games he played so far.
#2. Experienced Felipe Vezaro (6'4''-G-1992, played in 2010-12, plays in Brazil) led Caxias do Sul Basquete to a surprising victory over the third-ranked Vivo/Franca (4-1) 75-73 in the Brazilian NBB on Tuesday night. Vezaro was MVP of the game. He recorded 15 points and added 4 passes. Caxias do Sul Basquete (2-1) is placed tenth in the NBB. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Vezaro's first year with the team. Vezaro has relatively good stats this season 11.0ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.0apg.
#3. Tristan Ikpe (6'6''-F-1999, played in 2018-20, currently in Slovakia) was not able to help Blue Wings in their game against Levice (6-0) in the Slovakian Tipos SBL, despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game. He scored 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 35 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Ikpe's third season in pro basketball. But Blue Wings was badly defeated91-75 at home by the leading Levice. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Ikpe's first year with the team. This season he averages 8.8ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.2apg, 1.2bpg and 1.5spg in six games.
#4. Bonke Maring (6'10''-C-2000, played in 2019-21, plays pro in Slovakia) managed to help BC Prievidza to win against the closely-ranked Iskra Svit (2-5) 87-68 in the Slovakian Tipos SBL last Saturday. He scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. BC Prievidza (4-2) is placed fourth in the Tipos SBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Maring's first year with the team. This season Maring averages 6.5ppg and 3.5rpg.
