#1. Croatian champion Kristijan Joksimovic, a 6'6'' 30-year-old athlete who graduated from Bethany College, KS in 2020 and currently plays professionally in Croatia, recently competed in a game for Zagreb. Despite Joksimovic's efforts, Zagreb was unable to secure a victory against Djakovo in the Croatian Prva Hrvatska Kosarkaska Liga (second division). Joksimovic, a standout player with a strong track record, tallied 4 points and 2 assists in just 7 minutes on the court. Unfortunately, Zagreb suffered a 79-84 defeat on the road against Djakovo, who held the lower rank (#9) in the league standings. This loss marked Zagreb's third consecutive defeat, making their upcoming final game in the Regular Season a crucial one. As Joksimovic is in his fourth season with the team, he continues to showcase his skills, averaging 8.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.4 steals per game in the 16 games he has played this year. Despite the setback in the recent game, Joksimovic remains a key player for Zagreb as they prepare for their last match of the season.
