FIBA Board gives approval for wide range of changes to Official Basketball Rules - FIBA - 10 hours ago
FIBA's Central Board on Saturday signed off on changes being made to the Official Basketball Rules. The modifications will help make the game more spectacular, free-flowing and fluid. These changes come after FIBA's Rules Advisory Group (RAG) - which consists of experts from FIBA, the NBA and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) - analyzed 32 proposals and made recommendations to FIBA's Technical Commission at its meeting on June 6-7  
FIBA Board extends Secretary General Baumann's contract until 2031 - FIBA - 13 hours ago
FIBA's Central Board unanimously agreed to extend the contract of Secretary General Patrick Baumann until 2031. Mr Baumann has held the position since 2003. In 2010 his contract was renewed until 2022. FIBA President Horacio Muratore said: 'We are really pleased with the work of Patrick Baumann  

Kevin Huerter Out Two Months With Hand Surgery - NBA - 10 hours ago
Kevin Huerter (6'7''-G-98) has undergone surgery to repair torn ligaments in his right hand. Huerter could miss two months due to the injury. Huerter has been expected to be a first round pick. Huerter made a strong impression on teams at the NBA draft combine. Huerter averaged 14.8 points for the Terrapins, including 41.7 percent on 3-pointers and 50 percent shooting from the floor.
