Deron Williams(6'3''-PG-84, college: Illinois) could agree upon a buyout with the Dallas Mavericks. Williams was linked with a return to the Utah Jazz at the deadline. The Cleveland Cavaliers could have interest in Williams if he's waived. The Mavericks would like to give Yogi Ferrell an extended look as their starting point guard. The Phoenix Suns moved closer to the salary cap floor at the trade deadline by acquiring forward Mike Scott(6'8''-F-88, college: Virginia) from the Atlanta Hawks for cash, according to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski. Scott is on an expiring deal worth $3.3 million. 'Basically it's a salary cap move to get closer there,' The Vertical's front office expert Bobby Marks said on the site's trade deadline webcast.
